AWS North Community Conference is the leading cloud computing event in the NorthEast, filling a crucial gap in the region’s tech landscape. This community-led conference brings together global technology leaders, developers and innovators to explore the future of cloud computing and learn how AWS is transforming how we build, innovate and scale software solutions.

AWS North Community Conference exists to support and strengthen the local tech ecosystem. Built by the community, for the community, it’s more than just a learning opportunity. The annual conference shines a spotlight on the NorthEast’s vibrant tech community, showcasing its talent and innovation to a global audience while creating new opportunities for collaboration and growth across the region.

Led by industry experts, the one-day conference offers a dynamic blend of visionary keynotes, technical deep dives, and interactive sessions from both international and local speakers. From seasoned professionals to graduates just starting their journey, attendees will gain practical insights, share experiences, and connect with peers in a setting designed to accelerate innovation and celebrate community ownership of the cloud conversation in theNorth East.

AWS North Community Conference brings together technology leaders, developers, and innovators to explore the future of cloud computing. Our sessions are designed around three core themes, giving you practical insights and strategies you can apply in your own work:

Code of conduct

At AWS North Community Conference, we’re committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment for all participants. This code of conduct applies to everyone involved in the conference, including attendees, speakers, sponsors, partners, and volunteers.

We expect all participants to:
+ Treat others with respect, courtesy, and professionalism.

+ Contribute to a harassment-free experience, regardless of gender, gender identity or expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof).

+ Avoid language, imagery, or behaviour that could be considered offensive, discriminatory, or harassing.

Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. This includes (but is not limited to): offensive comments, deliberate intimidation, stalking, unwanted photography or recording, inappropriate physical contact, unwelcome sexual attention, or disruptive behaviour during sessions and social events.

Sponsors and exhibitors are also subject to this policy. Materials, activities, or displays that use sexualised or offensive imagery or create a hostile environment are not permitted.

Enforcement:
If someone engages in behaviour that violates this code of conduct, organisers may take appropriate action, including verbal warnings or removal from the event without refund. If you experience or witness behaviour that concerns you, please speak to a member of the organising team immediately. Our staff will be identifiable by branded clothing and are ready to help, including contacting venue security or local authorities if necessary.
